Was hoping to switching the thick wire that goes to the same terminal as the tell tail light would stop it charging. Was hoping this would make the light come on so he would known what's it's doing. I suppose the thing to do it try it.

We want to stop the alternator charging during a race but want it to charge while running round the pits and waiting to race. Am I right in thinking we can do this by adding a switch to this wire which we can flick over just before the race.

Hi Frank. I've put a meter on it and the thick one has a permanent 12v. When running the slightly smaller one didn't have 12v. I think it was about 6v

hi. Would anyone know which one of the 2 wires that goes to the alternator is the one that energises the rotor. Is it the thick or slightly thinner one.

Anyone know what the knack is it getting the power rack out with the engine in situ.

Hi Frank. I seen an old post were you said you ran with out a water pump tensioner and a slack belt. Did it work ok. We've just removed the PAS from my lads auto grass micra and it could be a way to go if the tensioner not needed.

I've a dizzy engine. Any idea were the air temp sensor is fitted. Been reading up about tricking the in coming air temp with a resistor to increase the air/fuel ratio. Has anyone tried it.

hi. I understand that reducing the wheel diameter should increase acceleration but reduce top end. If you change a 1.0 litre micra with 14" wheels to 13" wheels would there be a noticeable difference in the acceleration.

Hi sorry to ask again but I have one on hold and I don't want to buy it to find it does not fit. Would any one know where I can go to find out if a 2002 1.0 litre box will fit a 1999 1.0 engine.

Hi does anyone have any proper facts on how much BHP is taken from the engine to run PAS. I trying to find out if it worth while converting my lads autograss car from PAS to manual streering.

hi all Anyone know how feasible it would be to fit a rev limit light to a micra autograss car that had most of the unused wiring ripped out. My lad got in the habbit of driving on the Rev limit without changing gear. I want to rig up a light up to prompt him into changing gear.
