Hopefully it works for you. I believe the issue is with the torque sensor, a non serviceable item within the EPS unit. The EPS units are costly to buy new or refurbished.

Have to agree with chriswills in that I need the boot space, so a sub might not happen. I am not so worried about volume, more clarity of sound.

I only just joined today so by now you may already have found out, I changed my 6 changer earlier this year and the used the Autoleads PC99-X70 & corresponding patch lead. My steering wheel controls work perfectly with my new head unit.
