sorry can you explain a bit more about the earth please, also can it be a problem that when the fuel runs low that the pump is sucking in dirt, as the problem only happens when the fuel gauge drops to the beginning of the red of the fuel amount? the fuel in the tank is dirty, the original pump...

what I meant is that I have done the same test to two micra's the micra that runs well has loads of fuel coming out of the fuel filter once the ignition is turned, the one with the problem only a few droplets come out when the ignition is turned

the fuel filter is in the engine bay

throttle body is good, it come of a good running car, when I removed the fuel line from the fuel filter and turn the ignition, only a small amount of fuel comes out, which means there is a problem with the pump or dirt in tank

Thanks guys for all your help, just an update, managed to get a replacement complete throttle body from a 1.3 Auto with the same part numbers as my one, fitted it but car still ran the same, same problem, anyway after some more investigation I removed the fuel pump and noticed that the fuel was...
