Added a couple of bits over the last couple of days...knew my GCSE in Electronics would come in handy at some point...
I'm running a sub and two amps in the boot so thought a voltage gauge would be useful, whilst this beautifully spec'd creature did not come equipped with a rev counter.

Anyone know how many coils it's safe to cut off the Suzuki springs before the shocks start bottoming out?
I've lopped a coil off front and rear (standard front shocks, Corsa rears) but I've still got a fair bit of arch gap on 13s...
Thought this was worthy of an update...not done a lot other than drive her over the colder months.
Did however 'upgrade' my gearstick gaiter and knob
£4 Chinese eBay win!
More importantly, invested in some new wheels - finally got rid of the garish 15" chromed effect 5 spokes for these rather...
...any tips on pulling the speedo drive?
I can get half a turn on it pretty easy left to right, but pulling up on it makes no difference. I've even threaded a cable tie through the bolt hole and given it a good yank but no dice. been going at it for about 90 minutes now!

That's her...she's off the road atm for a few jobs, coming back lower and on smaller wheels ;-)
I found the stiffness to be a huge improvement, but mine is a standard car (not Super S). It was too high and really rolled/wallowed in corners.
It has to be early Alto springs - 1994 to 2002. I...
Corsa B shocks on the rear, Alto springs all around is what I'm running.
Still sits a little higher than I want on little 13" rims so I'm lopping a coil off the front and 2 off the back...may need to fit an adjustable panhard rod now...
Was wrestling a strut back into place, only to look down and find gearbox oil gushing all over the floor :-(
So...
1) How do I get it back in? It's not hanging loose - do I just whack the hub nut end with a mallet a few times? I'd rather not take off CV joints etc. etc.
2) How much oil will...
