It's currently bolted to the rear seatbelt bolts on the floor. Looking for a better point though.

You can do the job yourself in the space of 10 minutes!

My Micra has the OEM parking sensors. There is a separate speaker for these, nothing at all to do with the stereo (i've swapped mine too!). When putting the car in reverse, you should hear a single beep, they are then on automatically. There is nothing that can turn them off or adjust them.

Where's the best place to run the cable from the battery through to behind the dash? Anyone done this on theirs?

Had a look but can't see anything internal. Cheers though.

Any chance you can tell me what speakers you used? Also, did you need to make any spacers?

Possibly. I've been told though that a crossover is needed for tweeters, I've looked at the wiring diagram myself and seen what you've seen, there doesn't appear to be a crossover in place. Does your Micra have the factory fitted tweeters? If so, can you see if these have a crossover built in?

Does anyone here have a K12 with Tweeters? Mine doesn't have them as standard but I'm wishing to add some. There's a cable behind the door panel that goes to where the tweeters would go, however, I don't know whether I can simply use this and add some tweeters myself? Any ideas?

Hi Dave, Sorry, completely forgot about your email. It literally is plug and play, well, mine was. The Autoleads adaptor plugs into the steering connector and then a patch lead into the OE port on the stereo. Is the patch lead you bought definitely for JVC? I bought mine from Halfords for...
