Took me a while, mine didn't come with the plastic part, just the rubber for the buttons. Had to remove the entire rubber inside (Thankfully it's an insert) use a razor blade to carefully cut the inside part of it out (Cut up one of the missus's leg razors, don't judge me) and then put it all...

Replaced the battery in my key because the buttons stopped locking the car (unlocking worked fine) Had a Ford that did the same thing, new battery had it working 100% new Now the buttons do nothing for unlocking or unlocking... grrr Ah crap.

I can't comment on LUK kits because I have never used one, but I hammer my car everywhere (It gets used on the morning commute and lots, and lots of highway onramps), Nissan OEM in mine is the only way to go, 10k miles now, no issues (Not that there should have been)

Oh right cool. Blew all of the injectors up in a Volvo once because I bypassed the resistor pack for them, no idea if Micras have the same, probably not

Uhh that dead coil-pack after hardwiring ignition seems like too much of a co-incidence to me... it's still cutting ignition when the car is off yeah? Haven't bypassed any resistor packs?

Mine'll start chugging on no fuel at 360 miles and god knows how old my plugs are, all new filters though so you'll make it back fine.
