Nah its still in my hands. :D
Funnily enough ive just started fiddling with the car (just a little bit) as theres a few things ive had sitting around that never got installed/made and some stuff i never properly resolved...never know i might recommission her. :)
A while ago (car battery was borrowed temporarily to never return / that plus just not getting my insurance worth as neverout on the streets). Would need a proper service before heading back out assuming all is aok.
Im pretty sure the speed sensor is still attched on mine. That might be the thing I remember reading about but then forgot about doing. :S Can't say i've noticed any lean issues in 4th / 5th mind. Been ages since i've looked at any map data.
Been a few months since you posted, apologies for that guys, didn't ignore you both on purpose. Can't believe how quick the years have passed.
Car is still in my possession and is still in one piece, but hasn't been driven for a while and at the moment is waiting for me to make a decision on...
I would assume so long as you match the voltage ranges the cluster shouldn't care less in most cases as they are mainly on/off signals, fuel gauge its the tank float that'd need to match.
Rev counter, i'd check the wiring diagram. :)
I was just wondering about this car...good to see its still about. Funny really as i've just gotten an urge to give mine the once over and see if she's still ok as it's probably has been standing as long as yours has. :D
Having seen some of the things they get up to, i'm not sure it's all 100% legal. (from someone who's never worked in the industry).
Oh how i hate going through the list..."does the car have any modifications" "...yeah, how long you got".
But yeah insurance makes no sense.
