Rear quarter window replacement (k11 5 door)

Thank you, that's helpful. Mine has a manual winder mechanism for the window rather than electric. I wonder if I can get away with just winding the window all the way down and seeing if I can remove the rail?

Rear quarter window replacement (k11 5 door)

Some undesirable smashed my driver side rear quarter window on my 2002 Micra. It's a 5 door so it's the very small window. Providing I can actually find a replacement, which will be a challenge, does anyone know how to replace the quarter glass? I've managed to clear all the bits of glass out...

Loss of power and struggling up hill

Managed to diagnose the issue with my Micra by way of a loud pop and a puff of smoke in the mirror as I was accelerating uphill. Turns out the exhaust was blocked by the synthetic fibre (looks like a wig) that they put in the back box silencer of the exhaust to assist with sound muffling. The...

Loss of power and struggling up hill

Replying to a comment from 3 years ago but did you ever find out what the issue was? My 2002 K11 1.0 auto with 50k on the clock has recently started doing the same thing (loss of power uphill and on occasion very slow acceleration compared to what it was like before). Changed air filter, engine...

Sagging driver door (worn hinge pin and bushing)

I purchased these or similar from Ali Express but never used them. From what I could see, the pin and bushings can't be knocked out, the head of the pin would need to be grinded down and then hammered out. I did similar to @Mushepea above and put some rubber washers between the body and the...

Fitted New Front Wing to Facelift K11

This looks great. This guide is super helpful as well. Can I ask if you have the link for the supplier for the pre-painted wing? I need to get one (coincidentally also in silver).

Sagging driver door (worn hinge pin and bushing)

I suppose that saves me one headache but still haven't quite figured out how to take the front hinges off. Looks like the driver side wing needs to come off to properly access the bolts?

Sagging driver door (worn hinge pin and bushing)

Spoke to my local Nissan dealer, they still stock the door hinges but it will be £48 per hinge and will need two per door. Just need to figure out how to do it :-/

    Front wiper won't come off

Just an update, nothing worked except for the wiper removal tool I got rather cheaply from the world's most famous auction website. Once I attached it, it came off within a few seconds. The arm was basically rusted on.

    hazzard and indicators not working

    Glad you got it sorted.

    Front wiper won't come off

Thank you. Will give it another try over the next few days. Failing that, going to opt for the wiper arm removal tool and hopefully that can sort it.

    Front wiper won't come off

Micra S k11 1.0 auto 5 door (2002) I have an issue where one of my wipers (front driver side) is no longer aligned to where it should be. It's too low on the windscreen at rest and doesn't go far enough to the right when it goes up. Most solutions online state that I just need to take the...

Sagging driver door (worn hinge pin and bushing)

Micra S k11 1.0 Auto 2002 (5 door). I have the dreaded sagging door issue but only on my driver door. The door still opens and closes but the rubber seal at top doesn't press against the bodywork as it should (get a few rain drops inside the car) and the top of the driver door catches the top...

    hazzard and indicators not working

Like a small black cube with some metal prongs coming out of it. Like these: https://m.autodoc.co.uk/spares-search?keyword=V15-71-0011 Just plugs into the connect where the old one was. However, I couldn't get it back in the exact position to electrical taped it into place. Replaced it 2 years...

    hazzard and indicators not working

Did you get this resolved? Mine stopped working and it was the flasher relay. Unplug the old one under the steering column near where you knee would be and plug in the replacement. Best thing to do is unplug the non-functional one first so you can get the correct part number though. Took me a...
