Sounds like the symptoms of a vacuum leak on a bike...no rubber boots on the inlet mani of a k11 though. Could be worth throwing an eye over your piping & see is anything cracked. Or spray an aerosol around joints at idle & if the revs climb she's pulling in air

What's the soda for? Presumably it makes the glue more gooey so it stays on the joint?

Good stuff. The markings on the filter housing itself say screw it in until you get contact +3/4 of a turn but I always hate move-on specs! The filter on my bike is spec'd at 10Nm so I did mine up to that + a little more because that felt loose :p

I'm by no means an expert but I Believe the shells are all the same, so they should fit. If you look at the ad at the top, that's the height I'm at at the moment, with 15mm spacers the between the turrets and the tops of the coilovers, so they'll get you low enough to definitely have to roll out...
