IIRC your supposed to clean K&Ns and renew the oil so they don't clog.

Just a by the way for anyone cutting the silencer off a standard air feed, if your carefull with cutting it off at the "weld" between the pipe and silencer you can keep the pipe sealed there, I wasn't so carefull and now it has a square hole as well as the obvious one :D and so I have 2 to seal...

Acceleration is easy to calculate, G-Forces requires acceleromiters I think (oh how ironic). EDIT: hmm Force=Mass*Acceleration, Force*Velocity=EnginePower, in this equasion acceleration is the tricky bit, it would need to be calculated before hand from previous speed. It wouldn't be accurate...

February ECU Project I had an idea for a project, since I'm none too good at the mechanics side and alittle straped for cash (and knee deep in uni work). I thaught it a good idea, and useful, to be able to read the cars ECU data (and possibly later write) without a laptop and that, frankly...

My mate had a crash in leeds when a stupid taxi driver drove straight over a cross road junction without stopping and crashed. He got quite abit for it as he deveoped a suddern case of whiplash. BUT I haveto admit the junction in question is a nightmare to spot, but if he's a taxi driver...
