    N14/N15 final drive compatibility

You need the two final drive gears, one bolts onto the diff, part #143, the other is one piece with the shaft, part #2. See picture below.

    N14/N15 final drive compatibility

K11 RS5F41A are easy to find & cheap in NZ. Yes the shafts are smaller. There were not many K10s imported to NZ, so the final drive is probably best sourced from UK or possibly via your nissan dealer with the following part numbers: RN5F41A FINAL PARTS 1988 Genuine Nissan Parts 38101-01B13...

    N14/N15 final drive compatibility

Only a few rare K11 had the 31, it was the viscous LSD version. 31 boxes from a GA motor will bolt onto a CG. The CD17 & CD20 nissan diesel motors found in the N14/15 also have 31 boxes but most likely the bell housing is like the CA motors, and won't bolt to GA/CG. The diff from these or the...

    Differences in distributor?

5 sockets probably means there is an external coil? So find the coil wires that normally connect internally & run them to the external coil. Job done?

    raising my oil pressure...

In NZ climate, I always use 20-40 or 20-50 in higher km engines to reduce rattle when cold. Using 10-50 in a 200,000+ km engine will most surely rattle badly & take another second to reach pressure from startup.

    Differences in distributor?

There are at least 3 different distributors on earlier JDM K11, using at least two different plugs. They all fit in the head the same, but you might have some wiring to do.

need advice on drive shaft play

You don't just torque it up. Depending on the brand of CV there will either be a pressed metal cap that goes over the nut that is then held in place with a split pin, or the split pin will engage directly with the nut, or the will be a groove in the CV shaft that a thin part of the top of the...

    K13 Differences in the world

K13 is produced in several different factories to various spec levels. Australian & NZ K13 Micra come from Thailand. Different countries have different expectations, hence CVT's in Japan, manual gearboxes available for Europe/Australia, small engines in India, bigger engines in Australia/NZ...
