last point, there are dual filament bulbs in, and when the lights are on only one filament is lit, as expected, but they do seem brighter than normal for normal rear lights

have also checked the earth point in the boot as well, and if all connections are secure, and changed the fuse. May be a garage job?

Ok, so, when the lights are off, the brake lights all work fine. Turn on the lights and headlights an rear lights come on, when i press the brakes the brake bar comes on but no the main two brake lights. CHecked the bulbs.... ? ANy ideas Chris

yeah, i've gotten it down to that. Wheel is hot to touch after driving. Now to work out how the hell it got through an MOT when the rear suspension mounting in the wheel arch is corroded. I can put my finger through it.

Just bought a low mileage micra. 27,000. CAT s (rear bump) but has been repaired well. It just my commuting car. It has 12 months MOT. I did look at the sills, past experience, I know sills go.
