JAE 2004 was the last JAE event held at Billing Aquadrome, Northamptonshire

JAE 2005 was held at the East Of England Showground, Peterborough on the 22nd-25th July 2005

JAE 2006 was held at the East Of England Showground, Peterborough on the 21st-23rd July 2006

JAE 2007 was held at the East Of England Showground, Peterborough on the 21st-22nd July It was the last JAE to be held at EoE until a brief return in 2017

Often referred to as the "summer holiday" JAE. This was a one-off JAE held on Mersea Island in Essex over the weekend of 29th - 31st August 2008 Notable themes from this weekend included the August heat, crossing a narrow causeway and the beach-side views of the show

JAE 2009 marked another new venue, Wicksteed Park in Kettering. Renowned amongst JAE aficionados as one of the best locations for the show to date, the site came with an amusement park and a picturesque lake. It was held on the weekend of the 11th - 13th September 2009 and marked a more permanent home for JAE for quite some years

JAE's second year at Wicksteed boasted much-improved facilities, including better showers and toilets. It was held on the weekend of 9th - 12th September 2010

Returning to Wicksteed for a third year, JAE was held over the weekend of 9th - 11th September 2011

2012 marked the fourth year at Wicksteed, and thus made it the venue with the longest consecutive JAE presence since Billing. Notable MSC moments from this event included the return of our German friend Mik, and Harlen's "Dr Zoidberg" sunburn!

Fifth year at Wicksteed, and an MSC (and JAE) first - a full headgasket change on our stand! Resident turbo nut pollyp worked into the night to change a blown headgasket after a trek to frank to pick one up - sadly it still didn't hold up and the Micra in question had to be taken away on a low loader.

The sixth (and final) year at Wicksteed, 4th - 7th September 2014

In a controversial move, JAE went further north, moving to the Newark Showground. Being an old airfield, this location was beset with wind issues through JAE's tenure so on the list of locations, this one tends to rank near the bottom for JAE fans

Second (and last) year at Newark Showground. Most people were happy to see the back of it!

A familiar location, JAE returns for 2 years to the Peterborough Arena (formerly East of England Showground)

A new venue, the Norfolk Showground in Norwich!

Held at the Norfolk Showground, this could potentially be the last ever JAE as there has been no word from organisers what has happened to 2022 or any future shows :(
