what did you do to your micra today ?

I live about 30 miles from there, just outside of Falmouth. Only ever go to the beach if its hot and my dogs fancy a swim, dogs are banned in the summer, but I just ignore it. I like pasties too.
Oh cool, I haven't been down that way in a few years actually, I'm sure I've stayed in falmouth at least once though out of the times we've been down. Get to enjoy the roads this time though (when they're not jammed) as its the first time I'll have gone in my own car.

Anyway Wdid? Checked and tightened strut bolts and wheel nuts, left front strut deffo needs replacing soon its buggered, no damping left and things inside rattle :/.
Also emptied some crap out before rrg tomorrow but didn't clean it as it was raining and I don't have any car shampoo anyway. Will be a shine spray job tomorrow I think!

If your down here next week, its the busiest week of the year in Cornwall and the traffic is bonkers, quicker to walk sometimes.
Drive steady as a lot of you emmets aren't used to our narrow bendy roads and hills LOL, and if you meet a bus on one of em, you'll be doing the reversing, OH!!! watch out fer tractors, they don't give a hoot bout nuffin. Enjoy your stay.
PS - I may be in that area next week, looks like I may have tracked down a seatbelt and pre-tensioner for my Mot at last, found a scrappy with about 10 micras breaking, all K11s (sad)

Coming down tomorrow morning yeah, figured it'd be busy so I'm leaving early so I can make the show at the minack theatre in the evening. And don't worry :p I live in wycombe in bucks, plenty of windy narrow roads and these lovely chiltern hills to play with! Still won't be ragging it mind... I like breathing too much!

Gathering!

I like breathing too, especially with a smoke in one hand and a pint in the other. Luvvly jubbly :)

WDIDT? Removed the tow hook and painted it black (does anyone know if its a legal requirement to have it on? It's bloody heavy)
Gave her a damn good wash, and finally, had a heart to heart with Ade <3
Today was a good day.

K K K K Kamarley!!
How new? Tapatalk 2?
I just got it yesterday, if it is this one, select the post you'd like to quote, press the two speech bubbles button, then hit the normal reply button on the top right of the screen. That reply button should have the two speech bubbles on it now.

Wdid? Drove part way to cornwall, clutch broke on me though. So I drove something like 60 miles back with no clutch! Made traffic fun... Stop start clang, stop start crunch :p. Don't use luk clutches guys! Leastways not the ****ty release bearings, it ate the pressure plate flanges.
Anyway that's next weeks job to fix, I've got a holiday to get to!

I recognise those 13" nissan ronals with Yokos :D
how've they been?

Theyve been good, straight and no wobble which makes a change from my other cheap wheels ;)

Random question but do you still run your plastic wheel arch liners or have you removed them? I'm just worried about stones being kicked up towards the headlights if I take them out :/

Cut round em mate :) function over form. Dont worry about the back so much it protects the door hinges.
Your on tarmac stage at the mo aren't you

WDIDT?

Replaced/changed the driver side caliper. Also replaced the driver side wing mirror. My hand was oily with break fluid and touched the paint with realizing and in 5 minutes time rinsed it with water but still there seems to be damaged.

Tried to locate the remote based (if that is what its called: the controller for remote central locking ) but could not. It seems there is something wrong with something remote central locking mechanism somewhere. Tried replacing the better for the fob and reprogrammed. It is not responding to the fob.

Can some suggest what to check or how to check the fob? I tried the fob from the silver one it did not work either. Don't know if it is due the different model or bad remote controller.

Regards

WDID? Again @IRNBROO to resuce helped fit my PLR system, by gawd its loud, not opened it up so cant report on the gains but ill let you know soon enough ;)

WDIDT Ermmmmm, got carried away with a rattle can. Well the colour looked OK when I bought it to touch in a few scratches, BUT, it wasn't. Now I've got one door, rear quarter panel, boot and half a quarter panel a different colour from the rest, similar but different, ah well, better do the rest. Surprisingly quick spraying a car without preparation, dirt makes one helluva key.
Also, saw a Beemer today with red side panels and black bonnet, roof and boot, does look pretty smart for any-one thinking of a paint change.

Realised I still have 0.4mm of tread on my tyres to use by wednesday so was doing burnouts at every traffic light on the way home from my mates (stripped his series 2 g/b, nightmare!)
