Suitable Antenna replacement found.

Fits straight in, no cutting or drilling of the body, goes in the original mounting hole.
The model is an AERPRO AP148 to suit Pulsar 1996 onward.
Retail around $39. I paid extra to have mine fitted.

Looks just the same as the original Micra antenna just a bit longer when extended out.

Initial results seem to be good. Getting stations even under the tin roof of my carport (albeit with a bit of static) where as before got no signal at all.

I'll drive around a bit this arvo to see how it performs in the other areas where I was having trouble with reception.

Thanks for posting that Mychael, I have had my Micra since early 97 and have probably gone through 3 "genuine Nissan" antennas at approx 100 bucks each, great to know there is an alternative out there.
