replace antenna

Hi all,

my antenna snapped. Just wondering if anyone know how to change a new antenna.

attach a cord (for refitting) and pull it up basically

I havent been able to get a spare out of a wreck without breaking it, so I have to listen to mp3's

will try and unscrew the 2 screws and remove the whole antenna. do i have to seal it up again so that water cant sip thru?

Yes you have to remove the A pillar trim inside & trace the coax through. It is covered in a thin spungey foam and I think some tape or clips .Tape on some string/wire as Frank says other wise very hard to get back down. I had to use a N14 Pulsar one (telescopic type) and slightly redrill the 2 roof mount holes. Pulsar coax seems better but K11 solid ariel is stronger ? If you can get good K11 one test first.G/Luck.
