Anybody have any suggestions my partners car is giving off an strange smell of fumes which is entering passenger compartment not sure were to start and also having probs with lambda sensors she is convinced they are causing the smell which in turn she says are affecting the fuel economy are the on board fuel computer figures to be trusted:doh: ARGHHHHH HELP its doin me hed in

Replace the lambda Sensor if it is giving you trouble. This might fix the fumes problem but I don't see how they would be connected.
