Found that when looking around, will it make much difference and does it need to be declared to insurance?

you really need an improved airfeed to the standard airbox, but as the filter is a replacement then i would say no to declaring it.

i doubt it would need declaring on the insurance, its usually just induction kits that do. Ive heard they make more differance than an induction kit just cause it retains the airbox.
