Is there a sticky for compatible alternators

Im sure this is an age old questions, cant find a sticky for it being a noob..

Looking for compatible or High output alternator for 96 micra bolt on ,

Ive seen a couple of companies that sell HO alternators, but thought i would ask here if there is a particular model / place that is best as your the experts.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello monkey - welcome, I think there was a mention on alternators quite recently, trawl back through wditit I think it came up there ...half a dozen pages maybe - could be wrong ... sorry.

Although I've not looked into this with regards micra I have put larger alternators from other models on some of my other cars in the past. I would say the best bet would be to look and see if any of the almera/primera ones fit at the scrappers.
