Hi.

Just want to notice the problem and share the solution for it in 1.4L CGA3DE, year 2000 MICRA.
LCD meter was partially and after a while total blank.
Break it out instrument panel until printer circuit board was under my face.
There is 4 flat, metal arms, which came through printed circuit board. Purpose of them is to keep LCD -display tightly against circuit board's contacts, which are for LCD-display. Seen those arms were on loose leaving LCD -displays contacts on other side of circuit board loose. So had an idea and slightly pull & twist those tongues (which had locking edge on their arm) to get tight contact - and voila; everything fine and displays OK. So in conclusion : initial installation was poor and those arms were slipped from initial position.

As you notice, instrument panel in K11 Micras is easy to remove/reinstall. Only 2 screws and 1 connector keeps panels frame in place. 3 screws and 1 long connector which came to main circuit board, and after that you have instrument panel under your face. Few screws and plastic clips protects main circuit board from inspection, and you can replace blank bulbs at same time (illuminating gauges at night).
