Remove the 4 pipes from the old valve after putting cling wrap under the master cylinder cap to prevent fluid draining out.
Remove the nut and washer holding the link to the trailing arm.
Remove the 2 bolts holding the valve to the body.
Remove the valve.
Install new valve in reverse order.
Bleed the new valve by leaving the two rear pipes nipples a bit loose and removing the cling wrap from the master cylinder. When fluid runs from the fittings tighten them up.
Bleed each rear brake cylinder until the fluid runs clear of air bubbles.
Clean and check everything and then test drive.

Notes: my old valve was stuffed full of road grit, not working and not repairable.

The valve is the same on disk or drum rear brakes according to the Nissan parts catalog.

Buy your parts from a good dealer: Hardmans in Armidale gave me a good price, free delivery and a free bottle of Meguires car wash and a free chamois. See www.hardmans.com.au where they are promoting the new Micra. They have an enquiry form which I used to get my parts prices.
