ok folks i know this might be a daft question, but here goes anyway

do the grills from a 2002 micra fit onto a 1998 micra?

Should do as it's the same size.

The bonnet for 98 is the same as the 02 ones.

yes. i swapped my 2001 grilles for one of a 1998. if your going from 2002 to 1998 you need the bolts that hold it in aswell.

cos i wanna cut the middle bit out and stick some mesh in there :grinning:

i wouldn't use the newer ones as i think they look too chunky. but it's up to you as they will be easier to modify. here's some pics of the wife's grills. (just ignor the dead flies LOL!!!)

i used a hacksaw blade first, then trimmed it up with a stanley
