CV Joint boots

My CV joint boots have had it, could anyone give me a blow blow instruction on how to free them to renew them

theres 2 types you can get, theres the hard way or the easy way.

hard way,

remove the cv joint and put new boot on

easy way, but universal split cv boots, cut the old one off, the new one has a split down the length you put it round the joint and glue it together

These split cv boots, where are they obtained, do they last all that long? Thanks for the info.

when i did our family primera about 6 rears ago we got them from our local motor factors, they lasted the 2 years we had the car after they were fitted

ebay is your best bet , i fitted one a few weeks ago ive done around 1000 miles since and its still good
