Look the same as my "eyelids" I made out of ductape. On silver cars it looks schmick, matches the nissan colour-code so well you can't even tell its tape ;) That being said...I think his are a bit more professional than the old tape-mod and are just still in primer, lol

i did no clear on these, its a vinyl paint so no clear is needed, but normally i do 2-3 coats of primer, wet sand, 3-4 coats of paint, colour(wet)sand, 3-4 coats of clear, wet sand

I would say he'd prob install a plexiglass logo with backlighting to make it look sweet. Otherwise most people would install crossovers in that position but its rather big for that.

yeah i have a bit of mdf that im cutting a logo out of, it will be painted and have frosted perspex behind it lit with blue leds. i could start that til i got the trim back for fittment issues. it should be done tommrow hopefully!!

Ive got Boston Pro 60 SL speakers.. The cross overs are quite big and a twin setup would easily cover that space. You should see inside heatsinks are massive.

hey guys
well autosalon has come and gone and what a sucess!!
drove up friday arvo 15 guys 10 cars 5 of which were entering in the show it was a really fun drive, got stuck in peak hour traffic so took alot longer than expected.
any way got to the showgrounds to set up round 6 set the cars up and got out of there at 9 took awhile to get it all right 5 cars in a display takes a bit of orgnizing.
staggered to the show saturday it was a success, staggered again sunday hungover and again a massive success
300 entrants and over 30000 spectators awesome!
also got interviewed for mighty car mods check it at 9 minutes :)

cheers

hey guys
so the paint on the hatch is chipped and has been for a while and now ive finally decided to fix it, so went to get some paint for the handle and it was 250 bucks  half a soda can of flake was 90 buks, so ive gone a diffrent route, will look really nice too!
ive got some aluminum that will have a brushed finished, taken the handle off cleaned and sanded the area flat and made a cardboard template then a 3mm MDF template to make sure its right on.
any way enough talking enjoy!

there are 4 bolts that bolt the handle to the hatch as well as glue that will be used. the glue will double as sealant
