Check the voltage at the bulb with a multimeter, its either exceeding what the bulb is capable of handling or the bulbs are crap. Dont see why people change normal bulbs as they just make it harder for other traffic to see at night, making the roads more dangerous for everyone else...

I assume your talking about a focus, but either way you'll need to look at the mechanism. either the connecting rod from the door lock to the motor or the lock button needs adjusting or the motor is worn by the sounds of it.

a) Coolant content is very unlikely to cause the engine to run cold, its all down to the thermostat. b) Pouring hot water onto a frozen windscreen is the epitimy of stupidity, freeze-thaw will shatter your windscreen one day, if it hasnt happened yet its just down to luck Warming the car...

yeah, I usually do it for MOTs anyway if theres a leak.

just put some gungum repair tape over it then if its small, does the job good enough
