    Frank, yours sounds like an earthing problem. Suze, I've checked fuse box, this seems okay and since power gets to column switch then this side of circuits looks okay. Roger

    But if they ran in series when one stoped working so would the other. The drivers side works fine (and has its own feed from the column switch) Roger

    A relay is not shown on the wiring diagram unless you have driving lights If it has one where is it on the car ? Roger

    I've been trying on and off for the last few days to get nearside headlight to work on dim or dip. (1994 Micra) Drivers side works Fuse Okay Bulb okay Checked switch unit in steering column with meter, shows circuit with circuit tester but no voltage out of unit on either main or dip beam...
