So according to Haynes it's supposed to look like this: I can see how that comes off because one side is narrower so it can be pushed through the bracket opening. But mine looks different, it's the same size on both sides :unsure:

Hello, I can't get this rubber part in the pic off the mounting bracket. Am I supposed to move the white plastic parts? I've tried pushing it through as hard as I can and it won't fit through the little gap in the bracket. I'm worried I'm going to break it! Cheers
