Hi all, I have an old Micra 1.3 going if anyone wants it? Engine runs great, but failed on MOT for welding and a few other bits. Body work is rubbish, interior is good. Scrap yard offered me £75 if I drive it in, but would rather someone could make use of it if possible. Southampton area.

Hi all, My boot/fuel flap cable is broken, where it connects to the fuel flap. A black cylindrical piece. It doesn't look like you can replace that part, only the whole cable. Anyone know where I can get a replacement?

Well, I kept the other bearing as I know it's good, so I could have a go at putting it on the other side. The thing is, the noise is definitely coming from the drivers side.

Ok, so I changed the bearing at the weekend. Was a 30mm socket. In all took about 15 minutes. Easy job. BUT... the creaking/grinding noise is still there. Could it be a suspension noise?

Cheers Tom. Looks far easier to change the whole hub, so I'll for that. 168lb-ft is a lot. Will have to check I have a torque wrench somewhere. If not I'll do it FT.

Hi Frank, That was one of my thoughts. The other was suspension maybe. How easy is a wheel bearing change? Does it require specialist told?
