We beat MR2 OC's time too. Go karting coming up, MR2 OC andd Team Fuji have posted dire times, so we are in for a chance at beating them in that event too!

Team Fuji were moaning about our generator last night, saying it was doing their tits in. We turned it off, and they kept theirs running, so we turned ours back on. They then woke us up at 6am with radio one. We then beat them in the dragon boat race as payback.

At low rpm I'd go for forward sloped vanes tbh, as centrifugal pumps are incredibly inefficient at low RPM, as you'll struggle to get the desire air velicities through the pump otherwise. Also, as the air passes over the vanes, the cross sectional area of the gap between vanes, disc and case...

For pressure generation, backswept ones are best. For flow, forward swept ones work best. Have you seen those curved tennis ball throwing aids you get? Same principle :)

Or, measure operating oil viscoscity w/o oil cooler under normal use (gives close to manufacturer specced viscoscity for the engine), then oil temp with oil cooler fitted under hard use, and spec oil for that viscoscity at that operating temp. If you're making more torque, slightly thicker oil...

Should do, as long as its not too wide :)

CG has a very small filter footprint... My GA Drift magnetic oil filter won't fit a CG as the body is too wide. The sandwich plate needs to have a small footprint... So thermostatic ones might not fit. Might need an inline oil cooler thermostat.
