thanks getaway, but why would dirty fuel only affect one cyl.? swapped plugs but prob stays with cyl 4. thats why i thought it was sticky injectoron that cyl.

yes spark ok but plug is dry after running engine for a while, how easy is it to swap injectors Frank?

my wife has not driven her micra for about a month and when she came to start it again it only wants to run on 3 cylinders (poss 3.5 cyl!). plugs 1,2 and 3 show signs of soot where cyl 4 is clean which seems to suggest that no fuel is getting in. Anyone got any suggestions, how do I check that...
