Many thanks - Although there is no clutch slip(tested with 1 in 6 hill start before purchased), I was a bit worried that the clutch was perhaps nearing the end of its life! I will try adjusting it tomorrow night.

I have just purchased a 1998 1.0 GX to teach my daughter to drive and her first car. The bit point of the clutch is much higher than other cars I test drove being right at the top of the pedal stroke. Can it be adjusted lower, say at 50% of the pedal travel rather than the current 80% or is...
