why do u think it wouldnt be altenater, if the red light is on thats battery/alternater combo. You can't do one and rule out the other or did u check and volts all good

i agree but the man said this happen when he took a flat battry off and charged it so sounds like he obviously needs a battry if it goes flat, so with that i'd say yes definatly put a new battry on and then as this man says you must check the alternater is doing its job otherwise like my wifes...

Put a bin bag over the door itself and close it on it to keep rain out temp until you do, theres not much else u can do til you look n see what u broke lol

just earth it to the chassis somewhere nd take a wire from one of the two break lights for the 12v either brake side as they wired together anyways
