Problem solved. I finally managed to get the siezed bolts to give and took the bracket off, from there on it was easy to remove the sheared screw from the tension block and a quick trip to screw fix solved the problem. Didn't anticipate it taking quite so long to change a belt but job done...

Have posted in Wanted but thought it might be wise to try here too. I sheared the tension bolt in my alternator bracket trying to loosen that and the pinch bolt. A small belt change has now turned into a bigger job but I figure it would be easier to just replace the whole bracket rather than...

Just sheared the tension bold on my alternator bracket trying to get that and the pinch bolt undone. I figured it'd be easier to break out and replace the whole bracket rather than try and drill out the tension bolt. Does anyone have the bracket for sale? Thanks
