ibrooks, so i can just pop a switch on the dash, mark it as reverse and as long as it has a light in it thats visible as you say, it will pass an MOT? i dont mean to sound like a c**t but is that acurate? i dunno u may well be an MOT inspector :D

i have a prefacelift bumper i dont need, or really want.

have just fitted my old wheels, 12" from the prefacelift... wow.. who would have thought 13s would feel so slugish! also reattached the filler neck to fuel tank...the old jubilee clip wasnt holding anything!!

turns out the clutch was just mis adjusted... seems fine now, and changes gear fine now idle speed it where it should be! what do people do for wheels, theres not many other mfrs that have a center bore of 59.1 or more, just renault and MX5s... altho ive seen people running civic wheels, do ya...

how does 60 miles on a fiver tempt you? i just bought a tidy white H plate K10 to replace my crashed collete.. i paid £340, needs some welding and rear shoes i feel, but as a car its solid, and raises some eye brows if you catch the odd van driver napping at the lights ;)
