I got one cut and programmed at Timpson's cost £115!!, He had something which plugged into socket in fuse box (forget the name) maybe you could find somewhere cheaper just to get it programmed if you shop around,

Seems to have sorted itself, always idled a bit fast since I've had it (8 months) but slowed down now to proper speed

Just passed MOT, no problem, but on emissions test idle speed is 1011, which according to Haynes should be around 600 to 700 any advice welcome.

Thought universal sensors weren't much good Frank, cheaper I know you ever used 'em?

Can answer my own question now, they are, different design, different plug longer wire, DOH!

front and rear oxygen sensors, what's the difference? can you swap 'em?

Thanks for those Andy I think I've read just about everything there is on this, don't want to buy a new sensor if it's just a wiring or earth fault, trouble is when I've got time it's either dark or pi**ing down, will post again when sorted.

Bought a cheapo code reader off ebay, I know it's an oxygen sensor fault but can't understand why fault light doesn't come on after clearing the code until the next stop and start up, had a guy with proper diagnostic software check it and he said it needed better fuel and a good few hundred...

HI, anyone had this problem? K12 1,2 Cleared the code, warning light off, car will run for miles with no problems, if switched off and started again light back on after a few minutes ( code p0132 ) but runs just the same, no problems, very strange, any ideas?
