Intake diameter into airbox is 65mm OD. Just find some piping to fit, route the same way and run a k&n panel filter. Done. Btw, raptor, does your intake pipe have 3 holes in the back of it on the engine side? I just noticed today, thought it was odd. Might block them off.

I dont miss insurance in the UK. in NZ its much better. Example - i just bought a 12SR for about 3200 quid. insurance (TPFT) costs me 176 quid. Win.

Agreed. Having done an induction kit on a CR14, im favouring stock setup on a 12SR.

well the hoses you get in the kit are essentially vaccuum cleaner hoses, so yes fabrication would be better. however, the good part of the kit is the retaining panel that clamps up to the filter holding it in place (as the lower air box isnt needed) - but you might be able to fabricate something...

Basically it runs a k&n panel filter in the same place as the stock filter, but with nothing underneath it, with 2 supplied induction hoses pointing straight at it with air feeding from your desired place in front bumper.
