ya the guards just got back to me, fire started in back of car which was empty and the micra's have no electronics back there so I think thats pretty conclusive that the knackers did it.

So i've a 2002 k11 micra and last Saturday I woke up to a guard knocking on doors asking people is this your burning car outside. I'm just wondering what people think, after at least 6 hours of just sitting there would there be any way the micra could just spontaneously combust. It seems...

yes, on both front disks, very slight though

I took the wheels off and the disks do look a bit worn especially the one with the noise dosent feel falt when i rub my finger up it, so ill just replace all breaks and see how it goes.

Ya im going to change breaks anyway, the noise is coming from 1 wheel and it sounds like the pad is rubbing off the disk badly.

Recently I started having this low noise coming from the wheels as I drove, I thought it might be tires or wheels so I pumped them up and tightened the nuts but nothing changed. Then a few days later now the Micra makes a grinding noise every time I break. It sounds like it needs new break pads...
