hi just had a quote of £410 from a nissan dealer for a cambelt change , is this a fair price .Would i be better of buying the kit and going to a local garage. I live in Jarrow if anyone could recommend someone ? Ive seen the kits on ebay for around £60 , are these ok or should i buy the kit...

thanks for the reply Nappa, i beleive with a diesal that it may have a belt rather than a chain . could you give me an idea of what a reasonable garage would charge .

Hi my timing /cambelt is due to be changed .Icouldnt do this job myself and was wondering if im best of going to a nissan dealer to get it done or could any garage do the job. thank you
