ALL DONE FELLAS New Alt installed. Bottom two bolts don't go all the way in though... which is odd but it's tight as hell so not that worried. New belt aswell she's fresh now gg :-)

So, this is new... never heard this before (did a recent oil change though) So if i turn on the engine and let it heat up and idle for 20 minutes? then the second i turn it off i can only hear what i describe a Gurgling, Bubbling sound within the engine (could it be the oil?) boiling ? lol...

So this is the Bolt. to unscrew this i go forward right? not backwards? i need to make sure i'm not making it more tight lol.. so go forwards towards the engine is the right way right? Cheers

I'll try, i have all the tools i need even impact wrench etc lol That bolt is gone mate, i took it out it's on the seat and yet the other bolt ain't moving still... FROZEN.. lol I'll tinker around a bit more also have an electric ratchet wrench (not used it yet) need to charge it. Cheers...

Tat £70 is for the BRAND NISSAN and maybe "made in japan" filter lol... My oil filter is made in japan and fitted under my micra it cost me around £20 at the time but you can get the cheap un brand versions for like £4 The CVT oil filter well i always wonder can any oil filter work as a CVT...

Right, just purchased a new "alt" as the previous one was making all types of crackling noises... and killing the car so need to go, unscrewed the bottom two bolts NO PROBLEM AT ALL. However... The top left one, above the belt AIN'T MOVING i have tried like 5 different sprays even hammered it...

Shot in the dark this. but is there any water/moist in the boot or around the fuse box? My mates micra had a fuse issue and it was caused by damp/wetness around it. Cognrats on your first car/micra k11 good choice! Mine is a CVT Version (cba with the manual lol)

So, as the title suggests, i have changed the spark plugs but this micra i'm working on (2001 K11) Doesn't have any screws in the ignition coils to hold em down. What is the type of screws/bolts for these? what size do i need to get? Cheers
