    Is it HR12DE or DIG-S? On Note E12 (the same engines as K13), the problem is often not due to that sensor but because of dirty oil and/or IVVT solenoid got stuck.

    My Note got nearly 50K which seems risky to use Sea Foam. But I am more worry about damaging the catalytic converter. If the issue ever arise and couldn't be ignored, I might go to a walnut blasting service (if there exist one could deal with our engines) which is safest and most effective I think.

    On Note dig-s, the user manual said the capacity of gear oil is 2.7l, but "NISSAN MT-XZ Gear Oil Passenger Vehicles" instead so I am not sure it uses the same gearbox. A bit weird that Micra uses 'Nissan MT-XZ gear oil Sports and Off-Road Vehicles' instead.

    In this colder half of the year, I observe the coolant temp stabilised around 84 C for road trips. Since the aircon heating is pretty slow, I am thinking of partly covering the grill. Maybe the fan only runs in summer time.

    Thanks for the update. I guess these parts failed as a chain reaction. Did they give some speculation on which was the root cause? Sorry to say that I am looking on autodoc online shop and the main Gates belt is ~12 eur and the supercharger Gates belt is ~8 eur. Maybe they offset the labour...

    Ouch, I am newbie but that sounds pretty bad. My Note DIG-S is having a squeak sound at cold start, similar to your previous issue.
