last night removed induction kit, valeted & polished the old girl up & then a lady came round to view it & bought it :D i really enjoyed my micra after 18 months of ownership & great reliability 'mighty mouse' will be getting collected tonight. Credit to a lot of the guys on here are so helpful...

im no expert boonann! but i reckon the 1.3 will be a better base to start with mate & go from there. I'm sure some owners are nearly or at 100bhp with mods? someone will need to clarify.

Forgot to say, 1.3 cams also fit in the 1 litre so that will help as well

Acceleration will be helped by better breathing with induction or a good panel filter and you can get a modded manifold by frank on here and an exhaust system. a good set of plug leads, good plugs, and firmer suspension. You are only talking small increases though dont forget its only a 1litre...

yes all is fine with 35mm drop, but the tracking will be slightly out due to the wheels being slightly angled from the drop & the panhard rod wanting to keep it all striaght so the bar pushes them out of line slightly if kept standard with no modified bush to allow for the drop or use an adjustable.

i bought fk lowering springs with a 35mm drop direct from their main hq in germany - on offer for £55 delivered - bargain! dont forget to change the panhard set up. ewither franks bush to replace original or get an adjustable panhard bar.

you could try getting another fuel pump from a scrappy? or: have you tried giving the car a good service like plugs, oil & oil filter, air filter & fuel filter? also try carb cleaner through the intake if still no better try looking at the lambda sensor, unplug it & see if their is a change in...
