Why is it you can only get the codes from the blaupunkt radios ?

Nissan have said because it's a Nissan type radio only they have the codes

Dealer sorted free of charge

Help looks like I'm taking it to the dealers

Hi my wife's battery has died on her 2008 micra and we have lost the radio code . The radio is a Nissan pp-3001M and the serial number is pp3001MB 0027623 . Can you help please
