Yep mine did this had the tracking adjusted as it was way out, the castor and camber were spot on. This helped the situation but was still pulling....
Then swapped wheels front to back and problem sorted... i blame the cheap ass chinese tyres that were on the front
My micra s 2003 k12 has height adjustment on the seat.... i guess if needs must you could find another seat from a scrappy or someone and buy it... im pretty sure most have height adjustment
Howdy can people post mpg figures they've been getting for there k12 micra's accurate/average results prefered.
Car : 2003 1.2 Micra S
Lowest mpg ive got : 32mpg
Average i get is : 36mpg
Best so far : 40mpg!
All i can say is eeek i was expecting abit better when i bought the car...
I would have sorted some pics out but the haynes manual covers it very well in this area anyways i didnt feel it was necessary sorry :(
Im hoping the fronts are abit more robust than the rears as they are harder to change! :( :P
Ok so today i changed the rear wheel bearings! Nice easy job to be fair, best way to do it is with a press, but i used a heavy mallet to smash the old bearings out and using the outer race of one of the old bearings drifted the news ones in with the mallet, the new ones went in alot easier than...
Niice, i got my k12 a month ago after getting fed up of my golf gti... ive put 1500 happy miles on it..... but now the rear wheel bearings are failing.... great lol
Oh well lucky bits are cheap and easy to replace
1.2 s - The 's' doesn't mean sport.... Its basicly one step up from base model
So no... No difference, same old 79bhp engine
Its a good first time car / A very good car generally, im really enjoying my little 1.2 whiz-banger :D
Mainly the rears, not so much the fronts?... Cant believe these are going so soon, the car has only done 73k miles lol... my old astra never had anything mechanical and that was absolutely abused for its 155k miles lol
Hey im getting a strange whining/whiring from the rear and between 40-60mph, im certain there the rear wheel bearings even though when the wheels are jacked up i cant feel any roughness/excess play....
Ive read that these are a common problem is this true?
Cheers for any input :)
Definitely not one there + Looks like it never came with one as i can see where its meant to go but the plastic part where it slots in is just blanked off... I thought it was strange when a few petals from next door neighbours tree was coming through the vents! :O
My micra is 2003 without A/C.
Yea im running a kenwood headunit, standard speakers and a small 10inch sub in the boot.
I find the standard door speakers have enough mid and trebles to keep me happy with the kenwood unit driving them, i use the small sub to deal with most of the bass required and overall the audio quality...
Yea thats what i did, i heated up the tip of a screwdriver and melted a small hole through the rubber grommet surround, then forced the power cable through.... All together the wiring start to finish took about 1 1/2.... Not too hard really
