Hi there. Quick intro im a Nissan hi teq ex middlehburst motorsport.
When I finally get the time to turbo my k11 I was thinking of grafting in a turbod Nissan ecm and injectors maybe an SR20 DET would overfuel too much but a Ca18 det 200 sx s13 would be perfect. You know why spend so much on...
Ed may I just mention this fixation you have for Emanage. Its absoute rubbish what you talk. Why not fit a GTIR loom? Then he can use Power FC, dont even try to say Emanage is more sophisticated than Power FC because you now it, I know it and every Skyline owner in the world knows it. I work...
nats
Chris make sure that if your going to use NATS get the Dongle off the Primera or it wont work. The Immu is the part around the ignition barel. There is a coded chip in side the key. The immu reads this and amplifies the readings to the ECM via the dongle unit then back to the Immu again...
Also may I say that my comments are valid, a massive number of K11`s year after year come into most Nissan dealers for faults within the transmission, if you idiots actually worked in a dealership for Nissan then you would understand that this is the case then you wouldnt make misinformed, no...
Again do you lot want my advice or what? Im sick of trying to give advice and getting it thrown back or poo poo`d! Look ive been a Nissan tech for 10 years and I work for Middlehurst where im a Skyline and 350 Specialist before this I spent many years and 1000`s of K11`s and K10`s over the...
If you are using an ECCS Nissan ECU then it can only have idle speed set on consult as it needs to self learn its new setting. Manually adjust the idle speed in the same way as you are doing just now, except you cannopt adjust anything unless you freeze the ECCS on Consult. Dont argue with what...
You need consult to set it up on work support under the AACV/IACV setting. Nissan Throttle bodies can only be set via consult then manually adjusting idle screw down to around 650 rpm then as you exit work support screen the idle normally sets to around 700 rpm.
YOU CANNOT DO THIS manually as...
No theyre all #### weak, the mainshaft bearing lets go first followed by the diff ripping chunks out of the wallowing mainshaft.
Fit a Sunny 1.4 or 1.6 Gearbox as fitted to the GA14 or GA16DE. Go for the GA16 and that will be plenty strong enough, im pretty sure the input shaft pitch is the same...
Mate Greddy Emanage is absolutely crap the SAFC 2 is whats on my GTIR its much better than Emanage. Ive heard so many bad reports RE Emanage. If I were you id be putting Apexi Power Fc on your car instead, if you can get one to fit a Micra im sure you can. Its not much more money than Emanage...
all you need is a stronger cover as this is the weak link in any clutch. My GTIR is over 300 horse at the fly and I use a HKS cover and standard plate and bearing.
Word of warning a great car but very unreliable. Trust me the body control module (UCH) constantly fails leaving you stranded unable to start the engine.
