Do I need to reset the ECU to match the throttle body ??? as engine is running lumpy if so how ???

UPDATE... Fitted recon ECU , Relay now energizes at key switch on and engine fires ECU is/was duff [ no earth return for the relay] ECU from Auto Tek in Poole , Very helpfull and quick , HIGHLY RECCOMENDED Do I need to reset the ECU to match the throttle body ??? Ken
