Hi John thank you for your help. I looked at the wire tap for cable 1 and the clip hadnt cut into the wire so explains why it never came on. I stripped the sheath and then used the tap and it worked a treat!!!

I have a very small carpark behind my house, when I park nose in and go to leave the house at 5.30 it’s pitch black so reversing out is nigh on impossible. This is to help me see behind me.
