Yeah you can remove pannel on side of throttle body and you will prob find solder has come off the MAFS circuit board.

Did you check the fuse holder? These are very prone to corrosion.

What year is the Micra? As the engine management systems changed in late 2000 so depends on age of car as to what the fault could be.

You have to remember with Micra that it has a very small fuel tank, so even if you don't get that many miles to a tank it has not really used that much fuel. So when you work it out it might still be doing good MPG

Hello, the washe bottle is situated under the o/s/f headlamp. Access is gained to the bottle through the o/s/f wheel arch lining. Once you remove the screws and clips the lining can be pulled out then you can get to the bottle. It is most likely the motor seal or a pipe come off.
