    lewis - i think the sr20det tb were actually smaller in diameter than the sr20de tb. 70mm tb might be from an sr20ve, or an S15 sr20det.

    Hmm interesting extractors. May I suggest you put some heat protection between them and the aircon pipe. They are damn expensive to replace in my experience..

    CG13DE vs CGA13DE

    All Jap made CG engines had a black cam cover afaik. There's a picture of a CGA3DE in this thread further up, the first thing which tells you what it is would be the engine number stamped into the block. The next thing to look for is a knock sensor on the left hand side of the engine attached...
