best way to do this accurately is use the Nissan consult. it's around $40 on ebay.

LCJ the oil filling bolts are the x2 1/2 inch square female screws. there is a top and bottom, you will need to unscrew the top then fill till oil pours out.

guy proberbly just disconnected the signal wire from the sensor located on the head and ran it to the other guage. take you cluster off and see if any wires are jumped or modified. if not then check the sensor side, located under the distributor.
