You may run into some trouble if you're doing any auto trans work as the k11 was released with four different tranies. Even chasing paper work from nissan they gave me the wrong one. I had to go through the VACC.

No, 1/97 is the date stamped on the complience plate on the firewall. The plate your refering to has the date Dec 96' on it.
